Fresh Strawberry Sangria made with white or rose wine is total spring and summer refreshment! It's such a fabulous way to enjoy those beautiful fresh strawberries.
Thanks to the nice folks at Staples, the other day was like Christmas in May for me ... and the wine to make this fabulous Fresh Strawberry Sangria was at just the perfect temperature! What?? You're probably thinking, "What does Staples the office supply store have to do with the temperature of your wine?" ... right?
Well, inside this really big box that arrived at my door step a few days ago ...
One of the reasons I love this wine refrigerator is that it chills your wine to just the perfect temperature ... and I am one of those people who's quite picky about the temperature of her wine. The 'regular' refrigerator typically makes it too cold ... so you'll usually see me cradling my freshly-poured glass of wine in the palms of my hands for a little bit before I drink it. This brings the temperature up a bit, and brings the flavor out more. Yup, wine that's too cold 'loses' some of it's fabulous flavor.
Well, no more wine cradling for me! Now my freshly-poured glasses of wine will be just right. Thank you, Staples!
The first thing I did with my now-perfectly-chilled wine was whip up this gorgeous Fresh Strawberry Sangria. I've been on a little fresh strawberry kick lately {Scrumptious Strawberry Cobbler, Southern Strawberry-Coconut Punch Bowl Cake, & Lemon-Poppy Seed Dip with Fresh Strawberries}, so I just couldn't resist using these spring beauties in a beverage.
So, I tossed a bunch of sliced fresh strawberries in a pitcher with some white wine and other traditional sangria fixin's ...
