Creamy Baked Noodles Ingredients:
It takes just 5 simple ingredients (+ some salt and pepper) to make these tasty Creamy Baked Noodles. To whip up a pan, you'll need:
- Egg noodles - The foundation of the dish. While other types of noodles could be substituted, we like the texture of egg noodles and the wide surface they provide for the creamy elements to cling to.
- Cottage cheese - The first of the dish's creamy elements. Regular or reduced-fat cottage cheese can be used, just fine.
- Sour cream - The second of the dish's creamy elements. Regular or reduced-fat sour cream both work well in this recipe.
- Parmesan cheese - Adds a nice bit of flavor to the baked noodles. Use shredded or grated Parmesan, whichever you prefer.
- Worcestershire sauce - Seasons the noodles and brings wonderful background flavor and richness to the dish.
- Salt & pepper - As with most any recipe, a bit of salt and pepper amps up the flavors of the dish.

Hello Tracey, we made this a few minutes ago and it’s very good but we felt it needed a little something, so we diced up some prosciutto and tossed it in and omg it took it up a level to be a main dish.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe!
