Back in May in partnership with Crunchmaster's #NewBeginnings launch of their new logo and packaging, I embarked upon an adventure to make a positive change in my life. And as I introduced in my Creamy Feta Dip post, when Crunchmaster challenged me to make a new beginning like they are with their package design, it wasn't hard at all to decide what mine would be ~ more wholesome snacking for ME!
See, when it comes to choosing and preparing healthy snacks for our 7-year-old daughter, I do a pretty good job. But when it comes to me? Not so much. It seems that's always the way with us parents, right? ... We take great care of our little ones, without being so diligent for ourselves.
Well after continuing this new adventure throughout the year with super tasty Lemony White Bean Salad, Quinoa Tabouli, and Sweet Potato Hummus, my quest for healthier snacks continues into the holiday season ~ with this super tasty, super easy Shrimp & Cream Cheese Appetizer!
Now since it's the holidays, I am allowing myself to be just a little bit indulgent with my snacking by including cream cheese in this one. Though by using 1/3-less-fat Neufchatel cream cheese, preparing a snack-sized portion, and pairing it with 100% whole grain Crunchmaster crackers for dipping, my a-bit-indulgent snack is one I can still feel good about grabbing. And it's oh so tasty, too!

The flavors of the cream cheese and cocktail sauce blend beautifully together, and combine with the shrimp to create a taste reminiscent of a creamy shrimp cocktail. Combine that with the crunch of Crunchmaster crackers? And it's great taste with a fabulous crunchy texture, too.
See, I absolutely crave crunch when I snack. And unfortunately, crunchy quick-grab snacks aren't always the healthiest, most wholesome of choices. But with the help of Crunchmaster, I can change that.
Because ... thankfully for me ... Crunchmaster crackers are indeed true to their name and pack great crunch. All while delivering up wholesome ingredients that fit into a healthier lifestyle.
Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Original crackers or the simple Sea Salt ones go great with this Shrimp & Cream Cheese Appetizer.
Both crackers are 100% whole grain, low in sugar, completely free of saturated and trans fats, and contain no artificial colors or flavors. {Not to mention for my gluten-free friends out there, Crunchmaster crackers are certified gluten-free, too.}
Which means I can grab a handful of crunch to satisfy my snack cravings ... while still feeling good about what I grab.
And you truly won't believe something this easy tastes so good.
Happy holiday snacking!
